Peter Kamber war von 1982 bis 2017 Konservator für Handschriften und alte Drucke und ab 2005 Leiter der Sondersammlung der Zentral- und Hochschulbibliothek Luzern. Er ist Mitautor der Kataloge mittelalterlicher Handschriften der ZHB Luzern.
Peter Kamber was Curator of manuscripts and printed books as well as Head of the Department of Special Collections of the Zentral- and Hochschulbibliothek Lucerne, Switzerland. He is Co-Author of the catalogues of medieval manuscripts of the ZHB Lucerne.
